A lifetime in this business and something always surfaces that makes you keep on digging for more. This (c)hunk of cast aluminum was an appliance named the “breakfaster”. Looks like it would swallow something the size and shape of a bagel while the hotplate kept your favorite cup of java sizzling. In googling this baby i came across some industrial redesigner who turned one of these into a hard drive. Go figure! Thumbs up for the dude.

Impeccable single pedestal roll-top desk from around 1915 made of elm wood. This is an S roll tambour which is intact and functions like new. The lock on the tambour seems to have been removed a long time ago and the finish restored at some point in it’s history.
